Privacy policy declaration

We are delighted that you are interested in our website. The protection of your privacy is very important for us. Below is detailed information on how your data will be handled.

Storage of access data in server log files

You can visit our website without providing us with any information about yourself. We will only store access data in so-called server log files, such as the name of the file requested, the date and time it was accessed, the quantity of data transferred and the requesting provider. This data will be evaluated exclusively for the purpose of ensuring that the website operates smoothly and improving our service and does not allow any inference to be made regarding you.

Data collection and use for the performance of the contract and when a customer account is opened

We collect personal data if you voluntarily provide us with it in connection with your order, when you contact us (e.g. by contact form or e-mail) or when you open a customer account. What data is collected is shown in the respective input form. We will use the data provided by you for the performance of the contract and to process your requests. After the contract has been fully performed or your customer account has been deleted, your data will be blocked for further use, and it will be deleted after the statutory retention periods under tax and commercial law regulations have lapsed, unless you have explicitly consented to further use of your data or we reserve the right to legally permitted further use of the  data, of which we inform you below. Your customer account can be deleted at any time, either through a message sent to the contact details given below or through a function in the customer account designated for that purpose.

Passing on data for the purpose of performing the contract

For the purpose of performing the contract we will pass your data on to the shipping company which is commissioned to make the delivery, if it is necessary to deliver the ordered goods. For payment processing we shall pass on the payment data necessary for this to the bank commissioned to handle the payment and any payment service provider commissioned by us, or to the payment service selected by you in the ordering process.

The use of data when you register for our e-mail newsletter

If you register for our newsletter, we will use the data necessary for this or separately provided by you to regularly send you our e-mail newsletter. You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time, either by sending a message to the contact details given below or through a link provided for that purpose in the newsletter.

The use of data for postal advertising and your right of objection

We also reserve the right to store in summarised lists your first name and surname, your postal address and, if we have received this additional information from you in connection with the contractual relationship, your title, academic degree, year of birth and professional, industry or business designation and use them for our own advertising purposes, e.g. to send you interesting offers or information regarding our products by post. You can object to the storage and use of your data for these purposes at any time by sending a message to the contact details given below.

The use of cookies

In order to make our website attractive and enable the use of certain functions, we use so-called cookies on different pages. These are small text files which are stored on your end device. Some of the cookies that we use are erased after the end of the browser session, i.e. after you close your browser (so-called session cookies). Other cookies remain on your end device and enable us to recognise your browser the next time you visit us (persistent cookies). You can adjust your browser settings so that you are informed of the installation of cookies and decide whether to accept them on a case-by-case basis or block the acceptance of cookies either for particular cases or in general. If you do not accept cookies, the functionality of our website may be restricted.

Right to information and contact details

You have the right to receive information, free of charge, on the data stored by us that concerns you, as well as the right to have that data corrected, blocked or deleted. If you have any questions regarding the collection, processing or use of your personal data or with regard to disclosures, correction, blocking or deletion of data or the revocation of granted consent or objection to a particular use of data, please contact:
